Principles for the use of polyacrylamide

- Sep 04, 2018-

The use of polyacrylamide should be guided by the following principles:

1, granular polyacrylamide flocculant can not be directly added to the sewage.

It must be dissolved in water before use, with its aqueous solution to treat the sewage. 2, the dissolved granular polymer water should be clean (such as tap water), can not be sewage. The water at room temperature can, generally do not need to be heated. When the water temperature is below 5 ℃ the dissolution is very slow. Water temperature increased dissolution speed, but more than 40 ℃ will make the polymer accelerated degradation, affecting the use of the effect. General tap water is suitable for the preparation of polymer solutions.

Strong acids, alkalis, and salt-containing water are not suitable for formulation.

3, the choice of polymer solution concentration, recommended for 0.1%-0.3%, that is, 1 liters of water plus 1g-3g polymer powder.
